We are pleased to advise scheme members and consumers that updated FDRS Scheme Rules are in effect from 1 November 2021.
The previous rules were created in 2015. The amendments made to the rules are the combination of member collaboration, advice from the FDRS Advisory Council and subsequent approval by the Fair Way Board together with external legal review.
As the final step in the process the Rules have received approval from the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, noting they satisfy the principles of Section 52(2) of the FSP Act being:
- Accessibility
- Independence
- Fairness
- Accountability
- Efficiency
- Effectiveness
